Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Tune, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Tune is a desktop application that rewrites selected text using AI.

Text is sent to the Tune proxy server, which forwards it to OpenAI for processing.

Tune requires an internet connection for rewrite functionality.

Free tier: Available without registration. Subject to daily rewrite limits (currently 5/day) and feature limits (9 preset packs, 9 presets per pack).

Pro tier: Requires a paid license purchased through Lemon Squeezy. Provides unlimited rewrites and expanded limits (9 packs, 9 presets/pack).

License keys are tied to your device (up to 3 device activations per license).

Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys is prohibited.

You are solely responsible for the text you submit for rewriting.

You must not use Tune to process text that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, or violates OpenAI's usage policies.

You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, entitlement checks, or other usage restrictions.

You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Tune application or proxy server.

Automated or programmatic access to the Tune proxy server outside the official application is prohibited.

The Tune application, proxy server, and marketing website are the intellectual property of the Tune.

Your preset definitions (names and system prompts) remain your property.

Rewritten text output is subject to OpenAI's terms regarding AI-generated content.

Your use of Tune is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Tune does not store or log the content of your text. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Tune relies on third-party services (OpenAI, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare).

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.

Your use of Tune is subject to OpenAI's terms of use regarding AI-generated content.

Tune is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• AI-generated rewrites will be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors.
• The application will be compatible with all software or systems.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Tune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Tune in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Lemon Squeezy.

Refund requests are handled per Lemon Squeezy's refund policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions continue at their current rate until the next renewal.

You may stop using Tune at any time by uninstalling the application.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the proxy server if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your license key will be deactivated.

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Material changes will be communicated via the application's update notes.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
