Download the installer from this website. On macOS, drag Tune to your Applications folder. On Windows, run the installer and follow the prompts.
Tune needs Accessibility permission to simulate copy-paste shortcuts. This is only used during the rewrite flow. Tune does not use this permission to monitor your keyboard or screen.
Open Tune, go to Settings, and set your preferred shortcut under Shortcuts > Global Shortcut. The shortcut must include a system modifier key like Command, Control, or Alt.
Not currently. Tune supports macOS 12+ and Windows 10/11.
Your selected text is sent to a proxy server that we operate. The proxy forwards it to OpenAI for processing. The rewritten text is returned to your device. Nothing is stored or logged.
No. Tune requires an internet connection to process rewrites.
Preset packs are groups of rewriting styles. Each pack can hold up to 9 presets. You might have a "Work" pack for professional writing and a "Personal" pack for casual messages.
Press / in the Tune overlay to type any instruction directly instead of picking a preset. For example, "Reframe as a decision update, not a delay notification" or "Extract the key points from the report and present them in concise bullet points".

Open Tune, go to Settings, and select Manage Subscription under General > License. This opens the Lemon Squeezy portal where you can cancel. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Refunds are handled through Lemon Squeezy's refund policy.
On macOS, check that Accessibility permission is granted in System Settings. On both platforms, make sure the shortcut is not already taken by another app. You can change it in Settings.
Free tier allows 15 rewrites per day. The counter resets at midnight UTC. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited rewrites.
On macOS, drag Tune to the Trash. On Windows, remove Tune from Installed Apps in Settings. Delete the Tune configuration folder from your system to remove all local data.
